Episcopal Youth Community (EYC)
Sunday evenings, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
EYC is an organization that includes Episcopal young people in grades six through 12. It combines fellowship, outreach, fun, and
experience to help young people find a significance and relevance in their Christian vocation. The EYC meets regularly for activities that include outreach projects such as visiting Jackson-Feild Home, Christmas Caroling for
Emmanuels shut-ins, and sponsoring a Halloween Party and an Easter Egg Hunt for the younger children. The group also participates in workshops on hot topics and has fun activities such as a ski trip, Diocesan activities, ice skating, bowling, etc. Our youth group welcomes Emmanuels college students to join them for discussions, outreach projects and fun activities.

Acolytes
Acolyting is an important part of our worship of God. Boys and girls, in grades 3 through 12, are eligible to actively participate in church services and assisting in the worship service by carrying the candles or cross, or assisting at the altar. Training is offered to instruct young people in the various activities and duties involved.
